Histograms of the number of lemur species with different social organizations exhibiting different degrees of sexual size dimorphism. The ratios of male/female mean adult body mass have been combined into several categories. For example, “1” represents a category where the degree of sexual size dimorphism varies between 0.95 and 1.05. Body mass data were taken from [43, 199].
