Solid lines represent the stance phase, whilst short dashed lines represent the swing phase. The long dashed, black lines are the 95 % confidence intervals for the level terrain. Girdle rotations are mostly symmetrical between the pectoral and pelvic girdles, suggesting one compensated for the rotation of the other. Femoral rotation changed the most at the two most extreme slope conditions
